A lot of people think that eating right and losing weight will cause you to start losing weight in your wallet as well. We all know that its hard out there with the economy in the state that it's in, but you don't have opt for the cheaper "bad" foods. These cheap foods will not help with your fat burning diet, it will aid in more of a fat building diet if you are not careful.

Back in January, I had the opportunity to take a look at how much I was spending on food in comparison to the quality of food that I was eating. The amount of money was huge and so was my waist line. Here are some of the things that I learned from that small exercise.

1. Brown bag it! Bring your own lunch to work every day of the week. Maybe give yourself a little treat after you have noticed the difference in how you feel, in the wallet and in your body. I was spending about $200 a month on lunch alone. The food that I was putting into my body was not healthy at that. The same money that I was using on lunch allowed me to purchase healthy foods that only cost me about $15-$20 per week. Do the math and you will be surprised. Pack a sandwich or two with some healthy snacks.

2. Eat fruit and drink water in place of the lays potato chips and corn puffs. Stop with the popcorn with movie butter. Try carrot sticks with hummus. No more sugar pops, eat oatmeal. The prices are vastly different and its way healthier for you.

3. Cut back or Stop eating out- Ordering carry out or pizza can add up, in pounds and in dollars. Opt for shopping at the grocery store for some foods that you can cook during the weekend and store for the week. If you cannot cook on the weekend, there are so many fat burning diet recipes that you can find that will show you how to whip up a delectable meal in 20 minutes.

4. Don't be embarrassed to utilize coupons. Clip and save. Also, look for farmers markets in your area. The food quality is much higher while prices are cheaper. Amazing no?

This is a diet solution that will help you become healthier, physically, mentally and financially. Don't lose weight in your wallet, target your body and all will be ok.
